Our Sons Rise's Criminal Justice Reform program defends the rights, freedoms, and dignity of individuals affected by unjust laws and discriminatory practices.  We address systemic barriers facing Black boys and men while advocating for fairness, accountability, and equitable treatment throughout the criminal justice system.

Through community education, legislative advocacy, and government accountability, we raise awareness of policies and practices that contribute to injustice.  Our free community workshops provide information about expungement, reentry resources, and pathways to second chances, helping individuals and families understand their options and identify next steps.  Record relief eligibility and procedures vary by jurisdiction.

We believe meaningful reform must include opportunities for healing, restoration, and successful reentry.  By building partnerships with legal professionals, community organizations, and advocates, we work to reduce barriers to employment, strengthen families, and advance systemic change that supports safer, stronger communities.
